Our Catherine Tree is a gold family necklace featuring a family tree charm, with hand stamped (engraved) gold name charms to create this lovely necklace. The gold name charms feature hand stamped (one letter at a time) letters on the surface of the brushed gold pendants.
The chain and two thick pendants are made from gold plated metal (14 karat GF). gold plated metal has a very high content of 14 karat gold covering its outer layer, much more than plated gold. It will not wear off and coordinates ideally with solid 18k gold but without the high price.
Each name pendant is 5/8" (about size of a US dime) or 11 mm. The family tree charm coordinates with the 18k gold plated pieces yet is solid bronze. It measures approximately 7/8" or the size of a US quarter. It has a lovely shine and contrasts nicely with the brushed surface of the name charms. You can choose hammered or shiny, also, for the name charms
